Benefits for Your Car

Enhances Paint Gloss

Regular washing can leave a vehicle clean but may not provide the enhanced glossy appearance many car owners want. Gold Class Quik Wax is designed to refresh the look of the paint by adding a glossy wax finish after the vehicle has been cleaned and dried.

Convenient Exterior Detailing

The spray format makes this product convenient for quick exterior detailing. It is useful for vehicle owners who want to maintain the appearance of their car without spending as much time on a traditional wax application.

Rich Finish on Glossy Paint

The Carnauba and polymer formulation is designed to produce a rich, wet-look appearance. This can be particularly attractive on black, blue, red and other darker glossy paint colors, although the product is intended for compatible glossy paint generally.

Supports a Regular Paint-Care Routine

Gold Class Quik Wax can fit into a broader car-care routine that includes washing, paint cleaning, polishing where appropriate and waxing. Using the correct product for each stage helps keep exterior paint looking clean and well maintained.

How to Use Meguiar’s Gold Class Quik Wax G7716

1. Wash the vehicle: Clean the exterior thoroughly to remove normal road dirt and surface contamination.
2. Dry the paint: Make sure the exterior is dry before applying the spray wax.
3. Shake well: Shake the bottle before use.
4. Apply a small amount: Mist the product onto a manageable section of the exterior paint.
5. Spread with microfiber: Use a clean microfiber towel to distribute the product evenly.
6. Buff the surface: Wipe gently with a clean section of the towel until the finish is clear and glossy.

Work in manageable sections and use clean microfiber towels to reduce the chance of spreading dirt across the paint. Always follow the product label and manufacturer instructions for the specific vehicle and surface.

Suitable Surfaces & Finish

Meguiar’s Gold Class Quik Wax G7716 is intended for glossy automotive paint and clear coats. The product information also indicates that it is not intended for flat, matte or satin finishes. If your vehicle has a non-gloss paint system, check the manufacturer’s care recommendations before applying a wax product.

Meguiar’s G7716 for Black & Dark Cars

Dark-colored vehicles can make gloss and paint appearance especially noticeable. Gold Class Quik Wax is designed to create a rich, wet-look finish and can therefore be a useful option for maintaining the appearance of glossy black and other dark-colored vehicles. The correct preparation is important: wash and dry the vehicle first, then apply the product with clean microfiber towels.

Meguiar’s Quik Wax vs. Traditional Car Wax

The main convenience advantage of a spray wax is the application process. A traditional paste or liquid wax may require more preparation and application time, while a quick wax is designed around a faster spray-and-wipe routine. The best choice depends on your detailing routine, desired finish and the manufacturer's instructions for the product and vehicle surface.
