Recommended Surface Compatibility

Meguiar's identifies Hot Rims Wheel & Tire Cleaner G9524 for factory, clear-coated and painted wheels, as well as tires. It is a moderately aggressive wheel cleaner, so do not assume it is suitable for uncoated or polished bare aluminium, anodised, custom-finished or other delicate aftermarket surfaces. If your wheel finish is unusual, damaged or uncertain, check the product label and wheel manufacturer's care guidance before use.

How to Use Meguiar's Hot Rims Cleaner

1. Rinse the wheel thoroughly with a strong stream of water first.
2. Work on one wheel at a time and ensure the wheel is cool.
3. Apply the cleaner liberally to the compatible wheel surface and tyre sidewall.
4. Allow it to penetrate for no longer than 15 seconds, following the label directions.
5. For dirty or heavily soiled wheels, gently agitate with a suitable soft wheel brush if needed.
6. Rinse thoroughly with a strong stream of water before the product dries.
7. Blow dry or wipe with a clean, non-scratch cloth if desired.

Important Safety Tips

• Never use on hot wheels or in direct sunlight.
• Do not allow the cleaner to dry on the surface.
• Do not leave it on the wheel longer than the label directs; the manufacturer advises no more than 15 seconds of penetration.
• Check compatibility before using on uncoated, polished or specialty-finished wheels.
• Follow all label precautions and avoid contact with eyes and skin.
